US Sponsored State Terrorism Hurts Everyone
We Need to Rise Up to Defend Our Democracy and Reduce the Rising Tide of Violence
Watching Trump start another war without Congressional approval is something devastating to contemplate. Yes, the Ayatollah was a brutal ruler, and many Iranians protested against him recently, and experienced state-sponsored terrorism and executions. However, Trump met terrorism with more terrorism.
When will we see the end to this US state-sponsored terrorism related to ICE atrocities, and deportations without checking legal status? Threats by US leaders to our own citizens as well as to the rest of the world?
It can only stop if each of us pushes back and calls for a return to a moral compass. If, together, we call on greater oversight by Congress. If we rise up together and make our voices hears. If we do whatever each of us can to promote compassion and justice.
And if we vote out the crooks and empty promisers, and vote in people with a track record of governing with the common good in mind.
